Offered for sale is a magnificent pair of antique flow blue ironstone dinner plates manufactured in Staffordshire, England during the mid 1800s. The plates were manufactured by Charles Meigh and they are in the "Hong Kong" pattern, which displays an Asian scene with three small islands upon which are temples and trees. The border has a floral and vine pattern and the rim is paneled. The back of each plate is marked with the pattern name, and the plates measure 10 3/8 in diameter. The overall condition of the lot is excellent.
They are clean with no chips, cracks, or restored areas. The glaze is glossy with minimal rubbing or glaze loss to the edges, and there is no crazing.
