6 Antique Flow Blue Polychrome 10 Colorful Floral Dinner Plates Cauldon Exc

Beautiful Set of Six Flow Blue Polychrome 10 Dinner Plates Decorated with a Center Flower Bouquet and Floral Motif along the Rim. Impressed Cauldon (Staffordshire, England) c. Pattern Name Unknown (Not Uncommon for This Potter).

These very colorful Plates have a Deep Cobalt Blue for the Leaves and Rim Edging with Gilding hand-applied to further enhancing it. The Transferware Flowers are decorated with hand-painted Reddish Orange, Pink & Lime Green.

All six Plates are in very good condition with no chips or cracks and the Polychrome Coloring and Gilding show very little no wear. Doubt these Plates were ever used. Just an occasional scattering of tiny specks of embedded grit which occurred when made, fine crazing on 4 Plates which, of course, is commonly found on these pieces again given how they were made and a few light spots of age browning noticeable on the back in areas of crazing not noticeable from the front.
