EKB Elkin, Knight & Bridgwood ETRUSCAN Transferware Dinner Plate c. Decorated with a classical scene featuring Pegasus, the winged horse, Muses of art and music, and a putto holding a cap and torch, the scene is framed by an inner band of leaves. The outer border shows scrolls and acanthus leaves finished on a moulded beaded edge.

The plate is a transfer pattern printed in light blue on white background. Back is stamped with a cartouche showing the pattern name ETRUSCAN with the initials EKB also is an impressed symbol, that appears to be a leaf. Measures 10 ¾ in diameter. In very good antique condition: there is a chip to the rim as well and minimal scratching noted.

Plate may have minor factory flaws such as pitting or slight glaze loss on the rim consistent with manufacturing at this time. Note that we have other listings containing 11 additional plates (7 are in very good condition and 3 have chips to foot the rim). A wonderful and rare addition to any antique transferware collection!
