Description : A stunning English bone china dinner plate in pattern 5028 the plate has a complete cobalt blue ground with oriental styled roses design with spotted design in gold and gold overlay on the pattern, the centre with a decorative gold medallion on a deep cobalt ground a very complex plate to decorate that is for certain. Wonderful plate and rare find if you have this pattern, but also can be used as a standalone serving plate or makes a wonderful cabinet plate. Maker : manufactured by Royal Crown Derby Porcelain Works, of Derbyshire, England, marked on the back Royal Crown Derby Made in England, showing date cypher and also impressed Derby 1919.

Age : the impressed mark would imply the blank was made in 1919, but the date cypher on the stamp would date the decoration of the plate to 1937. Size : measures 10 ½ inches wide.

Condition : In excellent condition with no chips, cracks or craczing, no noted wear to the gold or pattern, glaze and design is bright and shiny.
