Wow Price! Set Of 4 Rare Wedgwood Columbia Powder Blue 10 7/8 Dinner Plates
This regal pattern is one of Wedgwood's most highly sought after gems. It is especially rare in the powder blue with raised gold combination. It is actually referred to as "Powder Blue Rim (white center) W100 Raised Gold". Pieces in this are scarce. White (not ivory) porcelain with a ground powder blue band rim that is embellished with a pair of raised gold griffins and flowers. There is a powder blue center medallion adorned with gold floral designs. Finally, you will find interior and exterior gold scrolling design rings outlining the powder blue band with a thin solid gold rim. This is a preowned set that was lovingly cared for. Each plate come in their own felt bag.
There are some signs of wear consistent with age and use. Slight utensil marks may present upon close inspection. All gold rims and raised gold decorations are in beautiful condition with minimal utensil wear, no loss.
