C1930'S VERY RARE UNION PACIFIC BLUE & RED OVERLAND LOGO DINNER PLATE TEST PATTERN. Extremely rare Union Pacific 9 dinner plate by Shenango China out of Newcastle, PA for the Union Pacific in a test pattern. This is a sample plate from c1930's where there were likely only 4-5 made. In the Luckins book there are sample plates from such patterns like the Arden and Shoshone that are very similar, but this one is different. Shenango hallmarked on the back with black letters which are sample codes to identify the sample.
