Authentic 19th century (Royal) Worcester 10.5 dinner plate in a cobalt and medium blue stylized floral pattern. Looks to be Worcester's take on a delft or Blue Onion pattern.
The English registration mark dates the plat to Dec. 12, 1881 and the Worcester mark dates it to 1882. Year differences are probably due to being made near the year end of 1881. Also has a faint impressed Worcester mark on back. Only flaw is a hidden back rim chip that looks that it was probably caused by a plate hanger. Unable to determine the pattern name, still a great decorative display piece or cabinet plate. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Cookware, Dinnerware & Serveware\Plates".
