5 STAFFORDSHIRE ENGLAND "SUDBURY SQUARE BLUE" 4416 IRONSTONE 10 DINNER PLATES. Lovely ironstone scalloped swirl rim dinner plates in the "Sudbury Square Blue" pattern, by Staffordshire, made in England. There are no chips, cracks, or crazing present.

There are a few light utensil marks toward the centers, that you can see only if you hunt for them, and even then, you must have them at a particular angle in the light to see them. Very busy pattern of florals all around the 1 3/4 inch rim, with a gap, then the center also shows many floral patterns, as well as more designs. The center well is deep, allowing more room to accommodate food, without spilling. This pattern has been discontinued, and it's getting harder and harder to find, especially in their given condition. Each plate measures 10 inches across x 1 inch from rim to tabletop. We are asking much less for ours!
