Set of 6 antique Royal Doulton dinner cabinet plates. The plates are decorated with elaborated border - the base of the border is a finely detailed series of arched panel in a vibrant cobalt blue which is then covered with lovely swirling petite stemmed flowers with leaves. Finally six panels on each plate have either a painted pink rose or formal spray. The scalloped rims have a complimentary cobalt blue band accented with hand painted gold on each side of the band.

The plates were decorated by The Robert Allen Studio which was part of Royal Doulton - known as for decorating the finest plates for Royal Doulton. Plates are marked with Royal Doulton mark in the center. The pattern number starting with RA (Robert Allen Studios) is 9929 which dates the plates 1920 - 1923. Good condition with no chips or cracks. There are a few utensil type marks.
