Antique Blue & White Spongeware Spatterware Dinner Plate & Mush Cup VTG

Offering a Antique Blue and White Spongeware Mush Cup and Dinner Plate from the 1800's. This is a RARE set of an early extra large spongeware Mush cup and matching plate. The large style cup was sometimes refered to as a farmer's mush cup.

It is decorated with cobalt blue sponge design. The cup measures 5 inches across with another 2 inch handle. The large deep dish plate measures 10 1/2" in diameter and the rim stands 1 1/2" high. They have kiln markings and are in exceptionally great condition for their age. There is a very tiny flea bite that you can barely see.
