Copeland Spode Hand Painted Birds Cobalt & Gold Pierced 9 3/8 Inch Plate F Antique late 19th century Victorian era English bone china pierced plate with relief molded and gold floral scrollwork border. With cobalt fish-scale ground alternating with hand painted birds of paradise around the border and a bird of paradise on blue branches with small red flowers in the center. Marked Copeland's China on the reverse. Also has a faint red pattern number 4619 and an impressed 89 date code for 1889. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition.
