Limoges Royal Vienna Style Hand Painted Blue Luster & Raised Gold Portrait Plate Very pretty antique porcelain dinner sized cabinet plate. Decorated in the Royal Vienna style with a hand painted portrait in the center framed by a wide band of gold gilding with raised gold diamonds and floral designs. Has an ivory, white and blue luster border with gold stars and dots, and raised and beaded gold musical instruments, flowers, and scrollwork.

Heavy gold gilding along the edge. Marked Haviland France in green on the bottom. This is an underglaze whiteware mark used by Haviland in Limoges France between 1893 and 1930. Probably decorated in Germany or Austria. Has some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.

Measures approximately 10 1/8 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the piece.
